At the heart of Dubai Festival City’s retail resort is Festival Marina – a 250 meter diameter basin, forming a Mediterranean style luxury yachting hub surrounded by fine dining, shopping and five-star accommodation. Operated by Island Global Yachting, Festival Marina offers 74 berths for motor yachts from 15 to 35 meters in length, plus 24 quay-side berths. Both long term and casual berthing for yachts is available.Festival Marina is located approximately 5 nautical miles from the sea, within the historical and fascinating Dubai Creek. In keeping with its international appeal, Festival Marina offers quay side mooring, as is found in the picturesque waterside towns of Europe – such as Cannes and Nice. This feature allows visiting yachts to moor directly at the quayside so passengers can go ashore and enjoy a day at Dubai Festival City.

The custom-designed marina features the distinctive IGY welcome - friendly and efficient staff, concierge services, underwater lighting, extra wide pontoons, WiFi access as well as restroom and shower amenities. Overlooking Festival Marina, Festival Waterfront Centre is a major attraction for the yachting circuit. The retail resort showcases over 600 shops including 25 international flagship stores, over 100 restaurants, cafés and bistros, a 12 screen Grand Cinemas complex, a bowling centre and parking for 13,000 vehicles. With eight hotels planned in Dubai Festival City, the creekside promenade currently links Festival Marina with Festival Waterfront Centre, the InterContinental and Crowne Plaza hotels, and will eventually lead to the Four Seasons Hotel which is due to complete in 2010.
