How to Get Here

Location: POSITION: 25º13.28’N; 55º21.02’E

Approach by Land:
Heading toward Dubai Festival City, drive towards Festival Waterfront Centre (FWC), and enter the service road that runs along the length of FWC. With FWC to your right hand side, enter the last basement carpark entrance/ramp. From the car park, it is a short distance via an escalator to the Trade Routes Pavilion building, which faces the marina basin.

Note: From August – December 2007, the open car-park at the southern end of Festival Waterfront Centre (FWC) will serve the marina. Please follow the road signs directing you to the Festival Marina car-park.

By Air:
Dubai is one of seven emirates that belong to the United Arab Emirates located in the Middle East. About 80 airlines land daily at the Dubai International Airport, so getting here is easy.  Air travelers can get a taxi at Dubai International Airport to take them straight to the marina. The marina is only about 2 km away from the airport, taking approximately 5 minutes, depending upon the time of day.

Approach by Sea: Located approximately 5 nautical miles within the historical and interesting Dubai Creek, boaters will pass under the Maktoum, Garhoud, and Business Bay Crossing bridges respectively, with a maximum height clearance of 6.5m at highest astronomical tide.  Festival Marina Boaters should note that because of the three fixed bridges, the marina can typically only berth motor yachts.

However, the new floating bridge will significantly affect commercial as well as recreational traffic using the upper reaches of Dubai Creek, including Festival Marina and Dubai Creek Yacht Club Marina.

The Floating Bridge is approximately 0.5km upstream of the Al Maktoum bridge, and will be open to boating traffic at the following times (latest advice from the Road Transport Authority; however these times may be subject to change):

  • Seven days a week: 2200 through to 0600 (except Friday morning, where it is open until 0900)

As a measure to alleviate the restricted opening times of the Floating Bridge, a dedicated pontoon has been allocated to Festival Marina boaters at the downstream Al Seef Marina to pre-position their boats either after 10pm, or before 6am, for use on the same day only (strictly subject to booking in advance).   The new Al Seef Marina is just upstream of the British Embassy on the Bur Dubai side of the Creek, and all Festival Marina owners will have access to it.

With a 20-hour berthing master presence, your visit to Festival Marina in Dubai will be one of exceptional quality.  If you require any additional information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Capitainerie Office Hours: 0800 – 1800, 7 days a week
Berthing Master Service: 0400 – 0000, 7 days a week
